I wanted to share some more photos of the awesome Treehouse Bungalow we stayed at in Haleiwa recently. This place is one of the coolest places to stay on the North Shore and it is very conveniently located near the beach. It’s fairly obvious from the pictures, but you should know the room is located high up in the trees and takes some effort to hike to. This only gets old after the 30th trip, but hey… you’re probably on vacation anyways, and everybody needs exercise.

We absolutely loved this place. If you’re looking for a cute, small, and charming place to stay on the North Shore I highly recommend staying here.
The most beautiful sunsets are visible from the patio. It was awesome to watch the clouds and waves from up on the balcony. We could see for miles, and walking to the beach is not difficult at all (though we did drive most of the time since it was easy, and we had our toddler with us).
From the balcony, you can see beautiful views of Sunset Beach.
My wife, Jana, walking down the steps (that’s the patio above).
Here’s a shot of the beach in the daytime, taken from the patio. The only thing you need to know is that there were some bugs (not many) and so we would often leave the screen doors shut.
Another view of the balcony from the steps below.
Our feet in the sand on Sunset Beach.
Our vehicle parked in the driveway. The parking is a tight fit, but it works and it secured behind a private gate. Very safe.
During the winter it often rains. Here’s a photo I captured during one of the brief winter rain storms.
I often work remotely, and they have free wireless internet here at the treehouse — it worked fairly well, but some times we couldn’t connect to it since there are a lot of trees in the way.
Sunset at Sunset Beach — absolutely beautiful, and I’ll definitely be back!
Another view of the sunset (to the north view) of the same sunset.
Here is another view (looking to the left from the balcony). This would’ve been in the morning.
Here’s a photo of our daughter (she was probably 14 months old at this moment). You can’t see it, but my wife is out of the view ready to catch her. She had been walking for almost 6 months at this point. Anyways, as you can see the room is very comfortable and I love the wood floors.
Yes, another view from Sunset Beach — love the waves! If you visit in winter time, be aware that the waves are higher during the winter in Hawaii. If you’re looking for smaller waves, the east shore of Oahu may be preferable.
I love this photo! The walkway after a rain shower.
The steps — over 100 — looking up at the treehouse bungalow.
We were able to do a bunch of cooking in the bungalow. We purchased supplies at the nearby grocery store and cooked breakfast every day at the bungalow. We also cooked quite a few dinners because it was easy, and the grocery store had some nice fish and beef.
